I recently got approached by the BBC to talk about inherited cookware and making welshcakes with my grandma. It was so special for me and hopefully the topic is one that lots of people can relate to. The programme was released today and the stories covered make it a lovely listen. I’ve put the link below and in my story if you would like to know more.

Well hello… it’s been a while. I would like to assure you that I have eaten good things in the last few months I’ve just been too busy living in the moment to even take a pic. That being said, today was my last day as an Edinburgh resident and I had to have a record of this lunch to share with you all. I perhaps saved the best ‘til last after walking past @eleanore_leithwalk so many times I finally made it through the threshold. We had the set lunch menu (a lot of which I actually can’t remember what it was) and my goodness it was good. A real fine dining experience with such a casual atmosphere. If you’re ever in my beloved Edinburgh then I would recommend you venture down Leith Walk to Eleanore!

New Moka pot and diss procrastination.

Moment of appreciation for my first ever sourdough loaf. Improvements can be made but overall super proud of the crumb on this. I am typically not a bread baker but this might be the year I try and master it. Also shout out to @marinaxilef for the starter!

Hit up a new ramen spot last week while @emileelou_ was in town. I went for the classic pork tonkostu ramen and it was in an unbelievable rich pork bone broth. Star if the show was definitely the broccoli side though with a miso dressing, chilli paste and cashews. I’ve never had such tasty broccoli in all my life 10/10 for @gulpramen
